    Fr. Gerald Martin D'Souza Inter School Basket Ball Tournament

    Fr.Gerald Martin D'Souza Inter-School Basketball Tournament at St.Mary's English High School starts on Thursday (20th April 2017) and promises to be as competitive and exciting as ever.


    A total of 16 teams from the City will battle for supremacy on the basketball court and the honour of the prestigious title.The competition started with a fantastic opening which features St.Mary’s marching band and drumming group.


    The Tournament was started by Former Principal and Secretary Fr. David Vincent in the year 2015. “It’s the biggest tournament of its kind in Jamshedpur School's Level. It’s unique and we’re confident it will be as competitive as ever. It also brings together the whole community here at Jamshedpur, and helps us share the wonderful experience with others.”




    The Chief Guest for the Opening Ceremony was Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Jamshedpur) Mr.Bidyut Baran Mahato.


    Principal Fr.P.Raj, Vice Principal Fr. Pradip Marandi , Vice Principal Sr. Mariam , Teachers were present in the Opening Ceremony.


    The total 16 teams participated in the Tournament.The Final Match will be played on 22nd April 2017.
