The Junior Block also celebrated the Feast of the Nativity of Mother Mary -

St. Mary's Day with immense devotion, joy and zeal on 8th September, 2026. The day is of special significance for our institution as we honour our Heavenly Patroness and strive to imbibe her holy virtues.

The Junior Block was aesthetically decorated with flowers, colourful charts, posters and portraits of Mother Mary, creating an atmosphere of reverence and festivity.

On this auspicious occasion, an Inter-House Competition was organised. The central theme was Virtues of Mother Mary. Each House was allotted a specific theme portraying her virtues:

- Sapphire House - Faith Fiesta

- Ruby House - Joy Junction

- Emerald House - Peace Pavilion

- Topaz House - Kindness Corner

The celebration comprised both On-Stage and Off-Stage events, all based on the allotted themes.

1. On-Stage Events:

Students of all four houses presented graceful and devotional dances and soulful songs and hymns related to their respective themes.

Sapphire House depicted the virtue of unwavering Faith, Ruby House spread the message of Joy, Emerald House showcased the importance of Peace and Topaz House highlighted the virtue of Kindness through their performances. The confidence, coordination and devotion of the children were highly commendable.

2. Off-Stage Events:

To nurture creativity and artistic expression, various competitions were conducted:

- Bookmark Making

- Card Making

- Vegetable Printing

- Slogan Writing

- Poster Making

All the entries were beautifully crafted in accordance with the theme of their respective houses and reflected the children's understanding of Mother Mary's virtues.

3. Special Presentation by KG Section:

The most endearing part of the celebration was the special appearance of our tiny tots of KG. The children were dressed up as different apparitions of Mother Mary. Their innocent and angelic presence added divine charm and grace to the entire celebration and was applauded by everyone.

4. Quiz Competition:

A Quiz Competition based on the School Rules as given in the School Diary was also conducted. The students participated enthusiastically and showcased their thorough knowledge of the school discipline and guidelines.

The programme concluded with a prayer and a message to follow the virtues of love, humility, faith and service as shown by Mother Mary in our daily lives.

It was our privilege to have Sr. Mary Vimala, Tr. Banani and Tr. Sumona Pani as our honorable judges.

The St. Mary's Day celebration in the Junior Block was a grand success. It was not only a display of talent but also a beautiful learning experience that helped our children understand and imbibe the holy virtues of our Blessed Mother.
