Annual Prize Nite 2025 – Senior Block

The Annual Prize Nite 2025 for the Senior Block (Classes 6–12) of St. Mary’s English High School was held with grandeur and heartfelt pride on 28th June 2025 in the school auditorium. The event marked a memorable evening of recognition, celebration, and inspiration as the school honoured its outstanding students for their excellence across academics, leadership, co-curricular activities, and sports.


The evening was illuminated by the distinguished presence of Mr. Kumar Shivashish, IPS, City Superintendent of Police, Jamshedpur, as the Chief Guest. Known for his disciplined service, sharp intellect, and deep commitment to law and order, Mr. Shivashish brought a spirit of inspiration and purpose to the occasion. His motivating speech encouraged students to pursue their goals with integrity, courage, and determination, drawing from his own journey in public service.


The event was blessed by the presence of the school’s leadership: Principal: Fr. Vernon D’Souza ,School Manager Fr. Jeyaraj , Fr. Petrus Vice Principal (Senior Section) , Sr. Eliza Vice Principal (Junior Section). In their addresses, they emphasized the importance of hard work, discipline, and faith in shaping young lives.



Students from Classes 6 to 12 were honoured for their outstanding achievements in academics, extracurricular activities, sports, and leadership roles. From subject toppers and 100% attendance awardees to cultural ambassadors and student leaders, the stage came alive with applause, smiles, and a sense of well-earned pride.



The evening also featured a variety of cultural performances by senior students. Energetic group dances, soulful musical renditions, and thought-provoking skits kept the audience thoroughly engaged.


Also a proud and much-awaited moment of the evening was the release of the latest edition of the school magazine, “Fragrance”. The magazine captures the creative expressions, achievements, and milestones of the Marian community over the past year. Rich with articles, poems, artwork, reports, and reflections, “Fragrance” is a vibrant testament to the talent and voice of our students and staff.
