St. Mary's English High School celebrated Children’s day on the 11th November, 2023, with great festive fervour, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The programme began with special prayers , followed by informative and inspirational speech by the School Manager Fr. Edward Saldanha.
This was the effort made to keep the spirit of childhood and child alive within every individual .St.Mary's gave the opportunity to the children to plunge into a world full of frolic and laughter! The fete was inaugurated by the school Principal Fr. Vernon Herman D'Souza, Fr. Edward Saldanha(Manager), Fr. Alex Darwin (Vice Principal) and Sr. Eliza (Vice Principal).
The School organized Bal mela for students on account of Children’s Day celebration on the 11th November 2023 between 8 am to 1.00 pm in the School premises.
The array of sumptuous eatable stalls, joyful rides, lucky draw, tambola and exciting games were the main attractions of the mela .Dressed in bright clothes, the children cheerfully hopped from one stall to other. They were given coupons to spend on whatever they wanted.
