The Graduation Ceremony for the outgoing batch of Std. XII 2023-2024 was organized at St. Mary's English High School on 3rd February, 2024. It was an evening illuminated by the celebration of the culmination of the academic journey of the outgoing batch of Std. XII.
The Graduation Ceremony began with the customary students' procession. Each student of class 12 held aloft a lighted Diya mark of wresting new responsibility and handing over the guiding light of everlasting knowledge and wisdom, earned at School. All walked solemnly up the aisle, to deposit the ‘ lights’ they had lit. The School choir soulfully sang a song of blessing as a journey of 14 rich years was set to culminate.
Principal, Fr. Vernon Herman D'Souza, Manager Fr. Edward Saldanha, Vice Principal Fr. Alex Darwin, Sr. Eliza, Sr. Elia, Sr. Pushpa welcomed the assembly and read out a special message for the graduating children, on the special occasion.
The Chief Guest for this solemn occasion was Mr. Waris S. Imam (Principal Al Kabir Polytechnic)
