COVID has taken away jobs and with it, financial security. When millions of people are in deep financial distress, especially in rural areas. The Joy of Giving Week is an event that is observed every year at our School with a lot of enthusiasm, reflecting the spirit of empathy and generosity of the students, teachers and parents alike. This gives us an opportunity to reach out to less privileged people with our acts and words of kindness.
As part of the celebration of Joy of Giving Week Principal Fr. P. Raj, Vice Principal Fr. Alex, Vice Principal Sr. Priya , Sr. Vijaya , Sr. Seema and other supporting staff visited OLD AGE HOME,MGM HOSPITAL and LEPROCY CENTER on Monday, December 21, 2020.
The preparation for the event started few weeks prior to the day. Teachers motivated their students to donate essentials for the needy people. Students learnt the value of giving and truly celebrated the joy of sharing. "There are a lot of things in the world that can make us smile but nothing beats the invaluable joy of making someone happy. "
