Orientation is the foundation from which teachers are supported in the teaching profession, helping them to become confident and capable teachers.
With an aim to create effective mentors, an orientation programme was organized for teachers of St Mary’s English High School, Bistupur, Jamshedpur on 14th March , 2024. It was a wonderful experience as we began our academic year with a prayer, hymns and intercessory prayers followed by the welcoming of Resource Person Mr. Jiju Thomas (Sr. Manager at JEM Foundation) , Fr. Vernon Herman D'Souza (Principal),Fr. Alex Darwin (Vice Principal), Sr. Eliza (Vice Principal).
This orientation programme was mainly focused on School discipline, safety protocols, Use of Technology, and Teaching Strategies with an aim to improvise teaching techniques and expand learning opportunities, ensuring educational quality and relevance.
The session was learner centered with questionnaires, discussion and sharing of experiences.
